Day 1: Marrakech - Asni - Imi N’oughlad col of Tacht Tahliouine

We start from Marrakech around 9am to Asni and the village of Imi N'Oughlad where we meet our crew of muleteers. We prepare the stage, load mules, and fill water bottles. Departure of the ride begins by crossing the village to reach the pass of Tacht (1,900m). We have lunch in open air then descend to the village of Tahliouine where we will be welcomed by the locals and spend the night. Duration: 1.5-hour drive; 4 hours of walking (400m climb; 350m downhill).

Day 2: Tahliouine - col of Matate - col of Aguersioulal – Imnane valley

We go to the Matate pass (2,100m) through the juniper forest with fantastic views of the colorful valley of Azzden and the surrounding mountains. We descend the valley of Matate with its beautiful villages before going back to the col of Aguersioual. We arrive at our cottage in the village of Tinaghrine in the center of the Imnane Valley. Duration: 6.5 hours of walking (800m climb; 700m downhill).)

Day 3: Tinghrine - col of Tamaterte (2,200m) - Imlil

We leave the Imnane valley crossing the Berber villages then continue along a short path with a panoramic view of the valley. We then arrive at the Tamatert pass at 2,200m with the very beautiful landscapes of the valley of Ait Mizane. We then descend to the village of Imlil at 1,750m, have lunch, and transfer to Marrakech. Duration: 5 hours of walking; 1.5-hour drive (400m climb; 450m downhill).
